In collaboration with the Fundación Liborio Mejía, we built Litivo (litivo.com), a platform that automates and fully digitizes the insolvency and conciliation process in Colombia. The system follows the legal workflow established by national regulation, generates all required documents, and keeps internal records of filings and milestones for traceability.

My role on the project was Frontend Developer and UI/UX Designer, owning the product interface and the end-to-end user experience so legal professionals and case managers could execute every step online with clarity and compliance.

Solution & scope

  • End-to-end case management for insolvency and conciliation procedures, reflecting the law-defined stages and forms.
  • Automatic document generation and internal evidence trails to maintain consistency and auditability across cases.
  • A guided UI that reduces errors and ensures users complete each step in the correct legal order.

Stack

  • Frontend: AngularJS (component-based views, form validation, step-by-step flows).
  • Backend: Ruby on Rails + Postgres (business rules, document generation, persistence).

My contribution

  • Designed the UI/UX system (information hierarchy, interaction patterns, accessibility considerations).
  • Implemented the AngularJS front end (forms, wizards, validations, state management).
  • Collaborated tightly with backend engineers to align API contracts, document outputs, and legal-state transitions.
